Departure of the participants

THE LICEO CLASSICO CARDUCCI hosted the first meeting of the project

from the 13 to the 17 October 2011:

Turkey: Mr. Mehmet Cebi, Mr.Arikan Akgor, Ms. Sema Ozbek, Ms.Ayfer Karaduman

The Meeting had a very full timetable.

The Italian students involved in the project ,with the teachers Patrizia Damato, Sabrina Ferraro, Fabiana Lancia and Claudia Vacca, have welcomed the delegacy in the Restagno Hall of the Town Council.

Here in front of the main authorities of the city they have presented an animated history of the city

enriched by music.

This moment has been followed by speeches made by different authorities thanking and welcoming the guests.

After that ,at school ,there has been the work session defining the objectives and main practical aspects of the project: the timetable and calendar of the different meetings,the number of students for each mobility ,the kind of hosting(family or hostel),the structure of the interactive maps,the topics for each historical period.,the realization of the website,the chosing of the logo.

Then the teachers have organized the visit of the city and the Abbey of Montecassino with the Polish cemetery.

One day has been dedicated to the visit of Naples and the archeological site of Pompei.

 

 

 

The Comenius programme focuses on the first phase of education, from pre-school and primary to secondary schools. It is relevant for all members of the education community: pupils, teachers, local authorities, parents’ associations, non-government organisations, teacher training institutes, universities and all other educational staff.
